I always feel that pulut kuning is part of ceremonial dishes that people have especially during event like khatam quran, cukur jambul, wedding ceremony and such.
Some call it nasi kunyit but I tend to think it as pulut kuning (glutinous rice in yellow). Don’t ask me how to cook it since I never cook such dish myself. But I do have the rough idea like you have to soak the glutinous rice in turmeric powder overnight, and you can either tanak like you cook normal rice or you steam and add in santan to make it more lemak and delicious.
The pulut kuning can be eaten with curry, rendang or serunding, your choice! But I would prefer rendang daging..heh!
